About the position

The Embedded Software Developer will focus on developing software for HVAC projects, including thermostats, chillers, and condensers. The role involves supporting both current and upcoming projects, primarily targeting commercial HVAC systems for major clients like Walmart and Home Depot, as well as commercial refrigeration for 7-Eleven. The developer will work on control algorithms and communication protocols, particularly with Modbus, to enhance system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for HVAC systems including thermostats, chillers, and condensers.
• Support current projects and those awaiting approval.
• Focus on commercial HVAC systems for businesses like Walmart and Home Depot.
• Work on commercial refrigeration projects for 7-Eleven and warehouses.
• Develop controls and control algorithms for various boards.
• Implement communication between control boards and compressors using Modbus protocol.
• Add new boards and ensure software runs effectively on them.

Requirements

• Experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in hardware integration and communication protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with HVAC systems or related technologies.
• Familiarity with Modbus protocol.
