About the position

Radiance Technologies is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group. The role involves supporting cyber vulnerability research, including hardware exploitation and reverse engineering. The engineer will develop algorithms and tools to enhance these efforts, requiring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support cyber vulnerability research including hardware exploitation and reverse engineering.
  • Develop and refine algorithms, tools, and techniques for cyber security efforts.
  • Collaborate with government and contractor personnel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of embedded systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (Master's degree can substitute for 2 years).
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with C/C++ programming.
  • Embedded debugging using JTAG.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and data analysis.
  • Experience in hardware security and cryptographic algorithms.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded Linux.
  • FPGA development experience.
  • Proficiency in PERL, Tcl/TK, Python, JAVA, Verilog, and VHDL.
