About the position

The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded control products by designing and developing firmware. This role involves close collaboration with the system engineering team to communicate and define technical requirements throughout the full lifecycle of product development, from defining product requirements to development and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded control products by designing and developing firmware.
  • Work closely with the system engineering team to communicate and define technical requirements.
  • Support software development by collaborating with system engineers and other groups to define requirements.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of product development, including defining requirements, development, and testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Full Lifecycle Software Development experience.
  • Embedded C and/or C++ development experience.
  • Experience with RTOS or Linux development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience developing in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience leading small development projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with various engineering functions/disciplines.
  • Ability to work within a project team.
  • Balancing responsibilities of sustaining and new product development projects.
