About the position

The Embedded Systems Engineer position at Equiliem involves working on innovative hardware and embedded systems projects, specifically focusing on FPGA and digital system design. The role requires candidates to possess an active Top Secret clearance and be local to the Lexington, MA area for onsite work. The engineer will be responsible for transforming advanced research and development ideas into practical solutions, utilizing various programming languages and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design digital systems using Xilinx FPGA tool flow from RTL design through synthesis, place-and-route, and FPGA bring-up.
• Develop embedded systems in VHDL/Verilog, Python, and C.
• Utilize Intel-based FPGAs for system development.
• Work with Quartus for FPGA design and implementation.
• Employ Matlab HDL Coder and Simulink for system modeling and design.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Experience in digital system design.
• Proficiency in Xilinx FPGA tool flow and mixed RTL/embedded processor designs.
• Strong skills in VHDL/Verilog, Python, and C programming languages.
• Familiarity with Intel-based FPGAs and Quartus software.
• Experience with Matlab HDL Coder and Simulink.
