About the position

The Embroidery Artisan at IN AND OUT APPAREL LLC is a part-time role focused on producing and creating goods primarily through commercial embroidery. This position is essential for ensuring the availability of products and timely delivery of customer orders. The Artisan will collaborate with the design team to enhance productivity and minimize production costs while managing the entire production cycle to support business development and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Produce up to 100-200 items daily during peak seasons.
• Innovate inventory processes and enhance current inventory tracking systems.
• Manage production and inventory levels for over 1000 products, focusing on increasing inventory turnover.
• Coordinate multiple shipments from overseas, Amazon, and local fulfillment centers.
• Analyze purchasing requirements by product line and develop shipping plans to optimize costs.
• Digitally order materials to replenish low or out-of-stock items in the warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy in ordering materials and delivery.
• Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organizational needs.
• Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Perform periodic reviews of inventory stock, recording and updating quantities and types of materials.
• Oversee damage control to minimize product loss.
• Participate in process improvements as the company grows.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial embroidery required.
• Interest in heat press, sublimation, and screen printing.
• Basic knowledge of art design.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a team.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and reach regularly; lift and push products and equipment up to 50 lbs.
