Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, processing, and evaluating oocytes and embryos.
  • Prepare laboratory equipment, solutions, and culture media for embryo production.
  • Maintain accurate records of lab procedures and results.
  • Perform cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of laboratory tools and workspaces.
  • Support in conducting in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, including sperm preparation and oocyte fertilization.
  • Assist with embryo freezing, thawing, and handling for transfer.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of embryo quality.
  • Monitor laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management.
  • Adhere to all laboratory protocols, biosecurity measures, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support ET/IVF team objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates degree or higher in animal science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in reproductive or veterinary labs preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate specimens.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and procedures quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends, as needed.
