About the position
The Emergency Clinician (Mobile Crisis) role at West Central Behavioral Health involves providing immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises. The position is part of a dedicated Mobile Crisis Team that operates 24/7, collaborating with community health centers, law enforcement, and emergency services to deliver effective behavioral health solutions. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and flexible Master-Level Clinician, committed to helping those in need during critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis intervention requests via face-to-face or video conference.
- Consult, triage, or facilitate appropriate hospital admissions and referrals.
- Provide crisis follow-up and stabilization appointments as per state contract.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a human services field or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in a team setting.
- Disaster Behavioral Health Response Basic Training (DBHRT) required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn necessary technical skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in behavioral health and mobile crisis intervention.
- Master's degree in progress for candidates with relevant experience.
