About the position

The Emergency Department / ER Nurse (RN) position at Incredible Health involves providing urgent medical care to patients in a community hospital setting. The role requires strong critical thinking and collaboration skills to effectively treat patients suffering from trauma and severe medical conditions. Nurses will work in a Magnet recognized facility that offers various shifts and types of employment, including full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and treatments, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.

Requirements

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
