About the position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with AdventHealth, you will be part of a dedicated team that is committed to delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit. This role involves managing and supervising clinical activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality of care. You will have the opportunity to work in a flexible contract assignment, allowing you to float between multiple hospitals across nine states, or remain at a single facility, depending on your preference. Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients within a patient care unit.
  • Manage and supervise clinical activities on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assess patient needs and develop nursing care plans.
  • Implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient assessments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and wellness.
  • Float between multiple hospitals or remain at a single facility as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 years of hospital acute care experience.
  • Associates Degree from an accredited school.
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program.
  • Active State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current AHA PALS certification (if applicable).
  • Current AHA NIHSS certification (if applicable).
