About the position

The Emergency Hire Learning Specialist is responsible for coordinating the New Employee Orientation program, overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS), managing communications and marketing related to learning and development, updating website content, and leading special projects. This role aims to enhance the onboarding experience and support professional development initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the New Employee Orientation program.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage the Learning Management System (LMS) ticketing process and oversee communications.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies to promote learning and development programs and resources.
  • Maintain and update the website to ensure current information related to employee learning and development programs.
  • Coordinate and execute special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university.
  • Three years of technical or administrative experience, with additional qualifying experience substitutable for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • A graduate degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
