About the position

The Emergency Hire Learning Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing employee and organizational development at California State University, San Luis Obispo. This position involves coordinating the New Employee Orientation program, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing communications and marketing for learning initiatives, updating website content, and leading special projects to align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate New Employee Orientation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Oversee Learning Management Systems, managing the ticketing process and supporting professional development initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external communications related to learning and development, including marketing strategies.
  • Update and maintain website content related to employee learning and development programs.
  • Lead and execute special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university.
  • Three years of technical or administrative experience, with additional experience substitutable for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • A graduate degree in a related field may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
