Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting
• Assess and prioritize patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
• Administer medication and perform medical procedures as necessary
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care
• Communicate with medical personnel and report patient information accurately
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided

Requirements

• Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Valid Driver's license, Class B Non CDL or higher preferred
• State Driver's Training certificate
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and protocols
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and vital signs
• Ability to perform physical examinations and provide critical care
• Proficient in triage and prioritizing patient needs
• Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well under pressure in high-stress situations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
