About the position

We are currently seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team in Northern New Mexico, including locations such as Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe. This full-time opportunity offers flexible schedules and a starting pay of $15 per hour, commensurate with experience. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to both emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and treatment to patients, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will play a crucial role in assessing patients, determining necessary care, and delivering emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. In this role, you will document patient information, conditions, and treatments while maintaining confidentiality and upholding patient rights. You will take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Your responsibilities will also include operating an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles. Collaboration with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs, is essential to ensure effective patient care. Additionally, you will participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and establish strong community relations. Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • State EMT License.
  • State Driver's License.
  • BLS certification.
  • NREMT certification.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
