Responsibilities
- Respond to a variety of emergency situations including acts of violence, natural disasters, and other hazards.
- Provide first aid to injured persons and follow established protocols for reporting injuries.
- Secure the scene of emergencies to prevent further loss or damage.
- Advise personnel of threats and potential threats during emergencies.
- Summon emergency responders to incidents as necessary.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment.
- Follow directions and orders from supervisory personnel.
- Move efficiently between locations as required.
Requirements
- Must have EMT certification.
- Ability to identify and respond to emergencies effectively.
