Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
- Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
- Providing emergency medical treatment.
- Preparing inventories and stocking supplies and inspecting equipment for proper operation.
- Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of the ambulance.
- Cleaning and detailing the exterior of the ambulance.
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper stocking of the ambulance, company vehicles, equipment, office, lounge, and bathrooms.
- Safely lifting, transferring, and maneuvering patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences, and other locations.
Requirements
- Valid State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current and valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No more than 2 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 3 years.
