About the position
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position at Allied Universal involves providing emergency medical care and support in a high-profile electric vehicle assembly facility. The role requires administering first aid, responding to emergency calls, and ensuring the safety and security of clients across various industries. Responsibilities
- Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating the transport to medical facilities.
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher, including requests for medical assistance following emergency response procedures.
- Provide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification.
- Determine the nature and extent of illness and injury.
- Report all medical incidents, accidents, or emergencies, including completing a Daily Activity Log on every shift, describing all activities.
- Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client property.
- Establish priorities to determine procedures for emergency first aid or assistance; request additional help, including special rescue and utility services.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Requirements
- State EMT-B License
- Valid Driver's License for a minimum of 1 year
- CPR Certification
- 5 years EMT-I experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate computer skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
