About the position

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position at Hart to Heart Transportation involves providing basic life support (BLS) to patients experiencing illness or injury. Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support (BLS) to patients per established standards of care.
• Operate emergency vehicles for patient transport when qualified.
• Adhere to jurisdictional medical protocols for emergency medical service providers.
• Participate in annual training and orientation programs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Maryland EMT B certification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 for driver positions.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and pre-employment behavioral interview.

Nice-to-haves

• NREMT certification (Preferred)
• Previous experience working at Hart to Heart (Preferred)
