About the position

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Life Med Care, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency and non-emergency medical transport and care to patients. This position involves responding to various medical situations, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly and safely to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Provide medical care following established protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and provide necessary treatment.
• Safely operate and maintain the ambulance and medical equipment.
• Assist with patient transport and ensure secure, comfortable transit.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Current EMT/Paramedic certification in the state of Texas.
• Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• BLS certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
