About the position

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position at OSS, Inc. is designed to provide emergency medical services and support to a manufacturing facility in Ambridge, PA. The role involves enforcing company guidelines and procedures while ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and visitors. EMTs will be responsible for responding to various emergency and non-emergency situations, conducting safety education, and participating in training and rescue operations.

Responsibilities

• Protect the lives and property of the manufacturing facility by enforcing company guidelines and procedures.
• Provide emergency medical services as needed.
• Assist with company safety education and hands-on training.
• Participate in confined space rescue teams and hazardous materials response.
• Respond to both emergency and non-emergency needs within the facility.

Requirements

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship or Naturalization.
• Ability to speak and write English fluently.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to withstand hot and cold temperatures.
• Pass a background check.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Acceptable 3-year driving record.
• Must have a state EMT or EMR Certification or equivalent.
• Honorable or Uncharacterized discharge from a military branch if applicable.

Nice-to-haves

• EMT experience preferred but not mandatory.
• New EMT Graduates are welcome.
