About the position
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. This role focuses on delivering clinical services in a 15 Bed Observation Unit within a fully accredited acute care community hospital that treats over 50,000 patients annually. The position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a well-established environment, providing high-level care to the community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services in the 15 Bed Observation Unit/Rapid Decision Unit (RDU).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-level patient care.
- Participate in the hospital's expansion projects and initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of healthcare in accordance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical background.
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
