About the position

ChristianaCare is seeking full-time Nurse Practitioners to join their Emergency Medicine team across four state-of-the-art Emergency Departments in Delaware and Maryland. The role involves providing exceptional care to patients in a high-volume environment, with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to patients in the Emergency Departments.
• Conduct physician assessments and differential diagnoses.
• Manage overall patient care unique to the emergency medicine population.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain relevant state medical licenses and certifications.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Advance Practice Nursing and Certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) or Dual Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) or Dual Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP or ACNP) and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) and Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC).
• At least 3000 hours of emergency medicine APRN experience.
• Current certifications from either the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Demonstrated excellence in patient care.
• Licensure for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse as set forth by the Delaware and Maryland Board of Nursing.
