About the position
NES Health is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford, CT. This role involves providing emergency medical care in a community hospital setting, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nurses, APPs, and specialists.
- Utilize Epic EMR with Dragon Dictation for patient documentation.
- Perform bedside ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Participate in the hospital's emergency response and trauma care protocols.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain an unrestricted state license.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or General Surgery (GS).
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a community hospital setting.
- Familiarity with telemedicine practices for night coverage.
