About the position
The Emergency Medicine Physician role is a locum tenens position focused on providing emergency care in a freestanding emergency department. The physician will be responsible for managing a variety of emergency cases and performing essential procedures. This position offers competitive pay and support for travel and lodging arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding emergency department.
- Perform emergency care procedures including Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, and Orthopedic stabilization.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all medical protocols and standards.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or eligibility required.
- Active Florida medical license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in all emergency care procedures is required.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
