This position is for an Emergency Medicine (EM) physician in Virginia, focusing on integrated care programs in rural settings. The physician will work in a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, and weekends, providing essential medical care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care in the emergency department.
- Staff the inpatient unit as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in integrated care programs.
- Manage low acuity cases effectively in a rural setting.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Practice (FP), or Internal Medicine (IM).
- Current licenses and certifications including ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
