About the position
The Emergency Medicine Physician role at AMN Healthcare involves providing locum tenens support in a freestanding emergency department. The physician will be responsible for managing a variety of emergency cases and performing essential emergency care procedures. This position requires proficiency in critical procedures and the ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding emergency department.
- Perform emergency care procedures including Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, and Orthopedic stabilization.
- Manage a variety of emergency cases effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Board Certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine is required.
- Must have an active Florida medical license.
- Proficiency in all emergency care procedures is required.
