About the position
As an Emerging Leader at Family Dollar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational support within assigned stores. This position involves collaborating with Store Managers to maintain compliance with store standards and assist in various operational activities, contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure positive customer experience by working with Store Managers to comply with Family Dollar Store Standards.
- Assist with Door to Shelf Functions, staffing audits, inventory preparation, and loss prevention as directed by Store Manager.
- Retrain Team Members as needed to correct operating processes and procedures.
- Assist with Mystery Shopping and other projects as assigned by Area Operations Manager and Performance Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to read and interpret operational directives such as merchandise schematics.
- Strong organizational skills and relationship management.
