About the position
The Emerging Leader position at Family Dollar involves providing exceptional customer service while supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in daily operational activities. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with store standards and enhancing the customer experience across assigned stores. The position offers flexible work schedules and the opportunity to work locally, with the potential for overnight travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure positive customer experience by working with Store Manager to comply with Family Dollar Store Standards.
- Assist with Door to Shelf Functions, staffing audits, inventory preparation, and loss prevention as directed by Store Manager.
- Retrain Team Members as needed to correct operating processes and procedures.
- Assist with Mystery Shopping and other projects as assigned by Area Operations Manager and Performance Manager.
Requirements
- Prefer completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Experience in store management in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Ability to travel locally and overnight as needed.
