About the position

The Emerging Requirements Team Specialist will provide essential support to the M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO) by focusing on New Site and New System Requirements. This role is critical in conducting comprehensive assessments of new site requests, ensuring that all evaluations comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies. The specialist will coordinate with various stakeholders to gather site-specific data, conduct feasibility studies, and develop detailed assessment reports. This position may require travel to new site locations, necessitating flexibility in work hours to meet project deadlines and operational requirements. In addition to site assessments, the specialist will evaluate new systems, technologies, or capabilities to assess their integration feasibility and impact on existing infrastructure and operations. This involves collaborating with technical teams to conduct thorough technical assessments, identifying potential risks, and recommending effective mitigation strategies. The role also includes analyzing system performance metrics and operational requirements to determine compatibility and readiness for deployment. Project management is a key component of this position, as the specialist will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for site and system assessments. This includes coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, analysts, and vendors, to facilitate information exchange and decision-making processes. The specialist will prepare and present assessment findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned on project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of new site requests.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather site-specific data, conduct feasibility studies, and develop assessment reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies during site selection and assessment processes.
  • Evaluate new systems, technologies, or capabilities to assess their integration feasibility and impact on existing infrastructure and operations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to conduct technical assessments, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and operational requirements to determine compatibility and readiness for deployment.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for site and system assessments to ensure timely completion and delivery of assessment reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, analysts, and vendors, to facilitate information exchange and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and present assessment findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government or defense environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and technical standards related to site assessments and system evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
