About the position
The Emerging Technologies Intern position at OUC offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the utility industry. Interns will support the Emerging Technologies group by developing data logging scripts, assisting engineers in maintaining data logging stations, and designing 3D-printed parts. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience and insights into innovative technologies that enhance utility operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Emerging Technologies group in various capacities.
- Develop data logging scripts.
- Assist engineers in maintaining data logging stations in the field.
- Design and fabricate 3D-printed parts.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree-seeking program.
- Academic status of Sophomore and above.
- Program of study: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule during May 19, 2025 through August 15, 2025.
