About The Position
Amazon's Worldwide Operations Sustainability team (WWOS) is looking for a passionate leader to drive our emerging technology and partnership fund Leap. Leap is a funding program that provides budget for operations teams to trial emerging innovative technologies and form industry partnerships to accelerate progress towards their sustainability goals. We are seeking a driven owner who is excited about sustainability and eager to lead this exciting program influencing Amazon's path to achieving zero emissions worldwide and meet The Climate Pledge by 2040. In this role, you will centrally coordinate the Leap Program Team (LPT), a cross-functional team within WWOS consisting of members from the Innovation, Partnerships, and Finance teams. The LPT team collaborates to drive the success of Leap and works closely with Amazon operations business teams applying for Leap funding. In this capacity you will run weekly LPT meetings, create the weekly agenda, track action items, and drive/solicit LPT member feedback on discussion points.
