About the position

The Employee Benefits Account Coordinator at AssuredPartners of Nevada plays a crucial role in supporting the Employee Benefits department by delivering exceptional benefits solutions to clients. This position offers high visibility to senior leadership and provides opportunities for professional growth within the insurance industry. The coordinator will work closely with client services and agency leadership, gaining valuable experience while contributing to client retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support client retention by maintaining a positive image with clients.
  • Assist with creating open enrollment guides and finalizing client presentations for new business and renewal meetings.
  • Gather information related to underwriting, data analytics, marketing, and HR services.
  • Enter accurate client information into the agency management system and export data as needed.
  • Obtain necessary information to prepare for RFPs and distribute them to identified markets, ensuring deadlines are met by carriers.
  • Prepare all required client-facing proposals and documents for the Account Executive and assist in tracking data, changes, and client-specific information.
  • Actively engage in learning and study industry trends.
  • Maintain carrier updates and bulletins in a shared document environment.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings with carriers as instructed by the Account Executive.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Willingness to obtain appropriate Life and Health license within 60 days of hire, with support from the company.
  • Strong organization and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar systems, including spreadsheets, email, word processing, and presentation software.
