About the position

The Employee Benefits Account Manager for Small Group is a client-facing role within a Louisiana-based insurance agency that specializes in customized health and welfare solutions. This position focuses on managing small group cases with up to 100 lives, ensuring excellent client service and engagement regarding policy, service, and enrollment matters. The role offers a hybrid work schedule and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen relationships with clients by assisting with benefits administration and addressing questions about coverage, claims, and billing issues.
  • Lead key moments in the account lifecycle, including plan implementation, renewal preparation, case submissions, renewal presentations, and enrollment meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to enhance coverage, contributing to additional revenue for the agency.

Requirements

  • Active state insurance license is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of employee benefits customer service experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
