About the position

The Data Analyst position at HUB International is an entry-level role focused on conducting in-depth analysis of medical and pharmacy claims to identify trends and key indicators that lead to actionable plans for clients. This position is part of a consulting team that emphasizes adaptability and excellence in delivering insights, and it operates in a hybrid work environment in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Providing reporting used by clients to understand how their health care costs and utilization are tracking relative to expectations.
• Analyzing health care claims data to provide clients with an understanding of what is driving their costs and what actions they might need to take to manage their health care plans.
• Coordinating annual processes across TOIC functions that relate to annual health care planning and renewals for clients.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to understand and address specific questions and needs of our clients.
• Supporting other team members to ensure all work gets done on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) in a relevant field.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
