About the position

This position will play a critical role in supporting communication strategies for Rivian Automotive's Enterprise Technology and other teams through: Writing, editing and launching change communication plans and awareness campaigns for employees. Measuring and tracking progress; analyzing feedback, insights and consulting on action plans informed by data. Supporting enterprise communication plans and experiences as needed. This position requires in-person work 2-3 days a week at our office in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing and launching change communication plans and awareness campaigns for employees.
• Measuring and tracking progress; analyzing feedback, insights and consulting on action plans informed by data.
• Supporting enterprise communication plans and experiences as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2-5 years of experience in Employee Communications.
• Experience in creating employee communication campaigns.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong listening and verbal communication and presentation development skills.
• Excellent writing, technical writing and editing skills.
• An affinity for technical employee communications and the ability to understand complex programs and translate them into concise and timely communications.
• Ability to work with colleagues across organizational and cultural boundaries to ensure successful execution.
• Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to develop and track measurement metrics.
• Flexibility in schedule to be able to support night and weekend shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace is essential; experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and web publishing preferred.
• The ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality is a must.
