The Employee Communications Manager at Ralph Lauren is a pivotal role designed to enhance employee engagement through effective storytelling and communication strategies. This position is integral to driving connectivity among employees as the company embarks on its Next Great Chapter: Accelerate strategy, which encompasses critical People initiatives and key cultural moments within the organization. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with Regional and Corporate communications leads, as well as various stakeholders across the organization, including DEI and other People Team Centers of Excellence, Shared Services, and Sustainability teams. The goal is to develop and implement best-in-class communications that not only engage but also inspire and educate employees about the company's vision and initiatives. The Employee Communications Manager will report directly to the Head of Global Employee Communications and will be responsible for a variety of essential duties. These include supporting proactive storytelling through weekly newsletters and Workplace posts, developing communication toolkits for significant company moments, and maintaining messaging and assets on shared drives. The role also involves participating in bi-weekly global Employee Communications calls to share plans for upcoming key moments, collaborating with the People team on communications related to employee engagement, and partnering with the corporate team to create narratives for external engagement opportunities. In addition, the manager will initiate proactive story-mining to highlight global initiatives and associates, ensuring that these stories are shared across internal and external channels. The position requires the creation of dynamic multimedia content to enhance internal engagement programming and support the coordination of communications for major initiatives such as DEI Courageous Conversations and Performance Management. The Employee Communications Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing internal processes to improve global coordination and alignment of communications activities, as well as measuring the impact of these communications through standardized surveys and engagement dashboards.
