About the position

HealthEdge is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media and Communications Specialist Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate student focused on a degree in Communications or Digital Media. We are looking for a creative storyteller with a passion for social media, AI technology, and multimedia design. This role will involve managing and growing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and maintaining our internal communications platforms. The intern will execute on and contribute to a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand values and business goals. Responsibilities include creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts. The intern will utilize AI tools to enhance content creation and boost audience engagement, where applicable. Additionally, they will design and update the company intranet and website to ensure a seamless user experience. The intern will manage the editorial and social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery on platforms such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor. Crafting compelling stories that resonate with our audience and reflect our commitment to innovation and excellence is a key aspect of this role. The intern will maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of content creation and platform management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support internal communications initiatives and campaigns. Staying organized and managing multiple projects simultaneously will be essential to ensure deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in social media.
