About the position

This position is responsible for the development and delivery of educational content for product management employees at Cook Medical. The role focuses on aligning training programs with the company's mission and priorities, ensuring that global product management training is effective, efficient, and compliant. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR and Learning and Development, to support employee development initiatives and ensure consistency across global training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership and stakeholders within product management, learning & development, HR, and company function and operational units to implement and ensure consistency in global employee training and development priorities, processes, and structure.
  • Ensure global direction and alignment across specialties while accommodating local and regional regulations and needs.
  • Develop, communicate, deliver, and support cross-division product management education and development programs.
  • Consistently collaborate with product management leadership to establish, measure, and meet training needs and employee development goals.
  • Act as a resource for employees in achieving their development goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to define and manage comprehensive development pathways and training requirements for each position.
  • Support and participate in development, design, and review of training content to ensure training is effective.
  • Evaluate the training need and determine whether internal content can be created or the need to seek external expertise.
  • Create learning solutions and processes aligned with organizational competencies and product management initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and Learning and Development (L&D) on training and development initiatives, including but not limited to, manager training, competencies, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), etc.
  • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
  • Ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met.

Requirements

  • College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in organizational planning and/or project management.
  • Display positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in eLearning programs and/or Cook's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Strong computer usage skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel).
