About the position

The Employee Health and Well-Being Coordinator is a part-time role for a registered nurse focused on assessing and promoting the health and well-being of employees. This position involves leading initiatives to enhance physical and emotional health, identifying risks to prevent workplace injuries, and promoting available support services such as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Responsibilities

  • Assess the health status of employees.
  • Promote overall health and well-being among staff.
  • Identify risks and hazards to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Lead health initiatives and programs for employees.
  • Promote support services available to employees, including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Requirements

  • Current licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of two years of practical nursing experience, preferably in occupational health or clinic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
