About the position

As the Employee Relations and Compliance Investigator, Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with the corporation's ethical standards and addressing any non-compliance issues that arise. This position requires you to apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to complex problems, providing innovative solutions that align with the company's values. You will operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision-making, supervising employees in both firm and technical competencies. Your responsibilities will include providing support and direction to the business partner community and other internal teams, offering policy guidance and interpretation, and delivering analytical support for Booz Allen's policy development. This encompasses policies and practices related to disciplinary actions, performance, compliance, and other relevant matters. In this role, you will lead detailed investigations involving internal policies and the Code of Conduct from start to finish. You will manage other investigators, mentor junior staff, and design and deliver on priorities while leveraging data to identify trends and gaps. Building relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating to resolve escalated concerns across all segments and aligned business locations will be essential to your success. Your expertise will contribute to the development of new principles and concepts that enhance the company's approach to employee relations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the corporation's ethical standards and examine non-compliance issues.
  • Apply leading-edge principles and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
  • Provide support and direction to the business partner community and internal teams.
  • Offer policy guidance and interpretation related to employee relations and compliance.
  • Deliver analytical support for policy development, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Lead detailed investigations involving internal policies and the Code of Conduct.
  • Manage and mentor junior investigators and staff.
  • Design and deliver on priorities while leveraging data to identify trends and gaps.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate to resolve escalated concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in EEO and business investigations, or 12+ years of experience in EEO and business investigations in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with leading detailed investigations from start to finish.
  • Experience in managing other investigators and mentoring junior staff.
  • Experience with designing and delivering on priorities and leveraging data to identify trends and gaps.
  • Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating to resolve escalated concerns across all segments.
