Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) is seeking a Manager of Employee Relations & Engagement to support its People strategy across employee relations and engagement, employee experience, and retention. This role is pivotal in ensuring that TMHCC maintains a positive work environment and fosters employee engagement. Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations and Engagement, the Manager will act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and management on various employee relations matters. This includes providing guidance on performance management, accommodations, workforce adjustments, and handling harassment and discrimination complaints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, particularly in employee relations, and will be capable of managing a wide range of HR responsibilities. In this role, the Manager will collaborate with HR leaders to conduct diagnostic assessments, focus groups, exit interviews, and workplace investigations for complex employee relations issues. They will also facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on essential topics such as conflict resolution, preventing harassment, performance management, and effective communication. The Manager will support TMHCC's People Strategy by partnering with HR leadership to plan and execute company-wide programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing diversity and inclusion, engagement, and employee experience. This includes conducting employee surveys, managing communications, and overseeing employee recognition and employer branding initiatives. The Manager will leverage relevant tools and resources to monitor and measure the progress of employee engagement and culture initiatives, serving as a steward of employee listening and engagement culture. They will gather employee feedback, analyze results, and translate them into actionable insights. Effective communication is a key element of employee engagement, and this role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering HR messaging to ensure that employees are informed, motivated, and aligned with the company's goals and values. Additionally, the Manager will support HR leadership on various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
