About the position

The Employee Relations and Project Manager at Corebridge Financial plays a crucial role in the centralized Employee Relations team, collaborating with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders. This position combines consulting and project management responsibilities, providing guidance on various employee relations cases and managing complex HR projects. The incumbent acts as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with employment laws while enhancing the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted consultant for assigned client groups on employee relations cases including performance management and corrective actions.
  • Manage basic to moderately complex reductions in force and restructuring initiatives.
  • Provide advice on health & safety matters and general policy interpretation.
  • Identify training needs for client groups regarding company policies and practices related to employee relations.
  • Partner with leaders and HRBPs in planning and implementing restructuring initiatives.
  • Use data to identify trends and inform decisions related to policies and processes.
  • Manage large-scale, complex HR projects from planning to implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations.
  • 2+ years managing large-scale, complex programs and/or projects.
  • Strong analytical and data skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with employment laws such as Title VII and ADA.
  • Ability to lead constructive dialogue and foster critical thinking.
