The Employee Relations Associate position at DDC in Glendale, AZ, is a full-time role that operates under the direct supervision of the Employee Relations Manager. This position is pivotal in coordinating and assisting with the development and implementation of policies, programs, and procedures that are directly and indirectly related to Employee Relations. The role requires extensive interaction with departmental supervisors, managers, team members, and the public, making strong interpersonal skills essential. The Employee Relations Associate will assist in administering the drug-free workplace drug testing program, which includes maintaining records and managing provider relations. The responsibilities of this position include assisting with the development and administration of progressive discipline policies and procedures, documenting performance and disciplinary issues, and preparing and coordinating training classes related to policies and procedures, Human Resources, or Employee Relations leadership. The associate will also play a key role in planning and implementing team member engagement initiatives, tracking complaints and grievances, and maintaining records related to personnel policies and procedures. In addition to these duties, the Employee Relations Associate will assist with investigations, prepare reports and correspondence, and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters.
