About the position

Apple is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to manage complex investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters across the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies, while fostering an inclusive environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including People partners and Employment counsel, to address sensitive employee relations issues and drive initiatives that support the business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex investigations involving high-risk or critical impact cases.
  • Advise senior leaders and partners on resolving employee relations issues.
  • Address executive escalations as assigned.
  • Conduct sophisticated Decision Reviews.
  • Maintain accurate case entry practices.
  • Participate in and lead Employee Relations projects as assigned.
  • Drive Employee Relations activities for business initiatives.
  • Partner with Employee Relations Leaders to provide training and mentoring for ER Business Partners.
  • Engage in calibration discussions to ensure consistency in practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related HR experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading investigations and resolving sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
