About the position

The Employee Relations Coordinator at CoxHealth will act as a key resource and consultant for employees and leaders, providing guidance on company policies and employment regulations. This role supports the HR department in various functions, including managing leaves of absence and unemployment compensation, while ensuring excellent customer service and communication throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource and consultant to employees and leaders regarding CoxHealth policies and employment regulations.
  • Assist HR Business Partners in day-to-day functions to support the HR Department.
  • Support various HR functions such as leaves of absence, unemployment compensation insurance, and rehire reviews.
  • Utilize excellent customer service and communication skills in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with peers, leaders, and employees.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Excellent time management, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law preferred.
