About the position

The Employee Relations Manager I is responsible for providing innovative workforce management solutions in alignment with established policies, procedures, and collective labor agreements. This junior-level position focuses on improving performance and driving business objectives, requiring direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring in strategy formation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to drive retention strategies and increase associate engagement through workforce solutions.
  • Executes grievance and disciplinary policies and procedures ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Provides coaching, technical, and advisory support to management in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Applies appropriate intervention methods to resolve complex employee and labor relations matters.
  • Leverages performance management system to identify opportunities for training and coaching.
  • Executes organizational and regional HR strategies for associate and/or labor relations matters.
  • Ensures Employee Relations strategy aligns with business performance goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four years of Human Resources management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of Human Resources management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree - Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products - Required
