About the position

The Employee Relations Manager at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for ensuring fair and respectful treatment of employees within the organization, particularly focusing on the last mile delivery services. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with field operations managers, human resources, and contractors to ensure fair treatment of employees.
  • Analyze employee and partner feedback to identify risks and gaps in employee relations.
  • Create, audit, and sustain positive workplace relations programs.
  • Design and conduct training on positive workplace relations best practices.
  • Manage crisis-oriented employee relations issues under severe time constraints.
  • Balance time between proactive initiatives and crisis-response activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law.
  • Experience supporting large hourly workforces is highly desired.
  • Proven record of creating and executing programs at scale.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree, JD, or specialized training in labor/employee relations.
  • Experience building and launching programs that positively impact employee engagement.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • Previous experience managing operations.
