The Employee Relations Manager at NCH Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in employee treatment. This position involves guiding managers in conflict resolution, overseeing employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Responsibilities

  • Ensure legal and ethical adherence to Federal, State, and Corporate policies regarding employee treatment.
  • Guide and coach managers and supervisors in handling employee conflicts and issues.
  • Build effective partnerships with functional, sales, and operations leaders regarding employee relations.
  • Interpret and administer company policies, conduct employee relations resolution and investigations, and provide coaching and counseling.
  • Oversee employee engagement events and manage the events calendar.
  • Support HR initiatives cross-functionally and provide outstanding customer service to all employees.
  • Educate management and employees on corrective actions, moves, and terminations to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate responses to unemployment claims, ensuring documentation is correct and timely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of corporate HR experience with similar responsibilities or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve escalated issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage difficult situations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to inspire and motivate others.
  • Knowledge of EEO policy and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
