About the position

The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for addressing workplace concerns, conducting complex investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations. This role aims to enhance productivity, motivation, and morale while upholding the company's culture and values. The manager collaborates with HR Business Partners to implement proactive strategies that drive employee retention and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts complex investigations involving sensitive matters such as harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, documenting findings and making recommendations.
  • Provides ongoing coaching, development, and training to business leaders to ensure positive employee relations and communication aligned with company values.
  • Partners with HR Business Partners to identify trends and provide insights on issues affecting employee retention and engagement, utilizing data analysis for case management.
  • Offers coaching and general employee relations support to employees to address and resolve workplace matters.
  • Collaborates with legal counsel on issue resolution to ensure risk mitigation and consistent application across the company.
  • Works with Internal Audit on Whistleblower hotline calls and ethics investigations, providing recommendations to leaders on appropriate actions.
  • Designs and delivers training sessions for leaders on performance management and discipline to enhance leadership competency.
  • Participates as a Project Leader for HR/OD Strategic Initiatives to improve business results through increased workforce productivity and engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the position's function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 7 years of experience in Human Resources, primarily in employee relations.
