About the position

The Employee Relations Manager (ERM) at Price Rite is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all Employee Relations functions across the company. This position is crucial for fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring effective communication among team members. The ERM will handle HR compliance, investigations, and various HR functions while supporting store operations and enhancing team member engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies to enhance team member engagement and culture
  • Lead, investigate, and communicate internal complaints in partnership with HR Generalists and Store Managers
  • Serve as the immediate contact for labor relations and provide training to leaders
  • Manage daily processes and reporting concerning compliance and Employee Relations
  • Partner with Merchandising and Operations to ensure meaningful team member communications
  • Oversee off-boarding processes and manage documentation
  • Partner with Risk Management on Workers Compensation matters
  • Lead Team Member Engagement survey processes and action planning
  • Create and conduct necessary training
  • Manage the internal compliance reporting platform
  • Provide team members with information on counseling and benefits
  • Provide coaching to team members and leaders
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes
  • Review and administer all Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Consult with legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Support HR Field Staff development through facility visits
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • 5+ years of related Human Resource experience including employee relations and compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resources policies and labor law
  • Experience in performance management and wage administration
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and resolve conflict
  • Self-motivated and independent professional
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Data analysis skills
