Responsibilities

  • Support the branch office in Seattle, WA with employee and labor relations issues.
  • Partner with management, employees, and union representatives on employment matters.
  • Advise management on compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and recommend solutions.
  • Implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure fair treatment of employees in accordance with company values.
  • Demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable means of communication and transportation is necessary.
  • Legal right to work in the USA is required.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with union and labor relations in an HR role preferred.
  • Ability to advise management effectively on employee relations matters.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with FLSA and other regulations.
  • Calm, polite, and professional behavior in all situations.
  • High level of customer service skills is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
